Mk8 VW Golf R GTI 2.0T AIRTEC INDUCTION KIT 2021 ONWARDS
As part of our expanding VW and Audi product ranges, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our induction kit upgrade aimed at modified EA888 Gen 3 & 4 owners who want to improve the performance of their car with a simple, bolt-on modification for track or fast road use. Initially designed and developed from our own Mk8 Golf R development car, it also fits a range of other makes and models, including the Audi 8Y S3 and Mk7/7.5 Golf R. This freer-flowing induction kit replaces the car's original air box and restrictive intake set up. It features our large cotton cone filter, a replacement aluminium intake pipe and new air box enclosure to significantly improve the car's breathing by increasing the amount of cold air it can take in, therefore offering increases power, performance and sound.
The filter is protected from warm air within the engine bay by a laser cut heat shield and the air box is force fed fresh air from the replacement guide, which utilises both of the front grille air intakes. The air box's slotted lid helps to provide a heightened induction noise and the comprehensive fitting kit also includes a replacement Pro Hoses silicone coolant pipe that redirects underneath the air box to allow more space. The kit fits neatly in place of the original to improve the look of the engine bay and comes with all fixtures, fittings and instructions for a direct, bolt-on installation. Its improved air flow, performance, sound and visual gains, as well as its straightforward fitment make it an essential modification for all modified EA888 Gen 3 & 4 platform models. 2016 to 2020 - VW Mk7/7.5 Golf R 2.0 T.2021 onwards - VW Mk8 Golf R 2.0T. 2021 onwards - VW Mk8 GTI 2.0T. 2021 onwards - Audi 8Y A3. 2021 onwards - Audi 8Y S3.
