VW Volkswagen Golf Mark 7 - Club Sport R & GTI Reverse Reversing Camera Kit - Motorised. This is our Reversing Camera Kit for The VW Volkswagen Golf Mark 7 - Club Sport R and GTI. The kit consists of: A Plug and Play interface which fits at the MIB unit in the glovebox.
It comes with an extra extension LVDS cable (so the original plug in the unit does not need to be routed out) Integrated to the display screen and activated when the reverse gear is engaged. This unit will display'dynamic parking lines' that move with the car, indicating its predicted trajectory. If your parking sensors currently show - then they will show on the left side on screen.
If your parking sensors only beep or you have none, then please let us know so we can provide a FREE micro SD card, that inserts into the interface which will remove the parking icon from the display. The camera unit is the New Sony CCD VW boot camera - built into a replacement rear VW boot badge (which flips open to reveal the camera) and fits in place of your current badge. The Camera Badge unit comes with a drain tube and the power / video cables connect into the camera interface.
The advantage of this kit, is that it is compatible with every version of the Mark 7 Golf, So there is no need to check for model or serial numbers and no coding is required with VCDS or VW software.
