VW Golf Mk3 GTi, 16V Goodridge Braided Brake Hose Lines - 6 Line Kit. Please note: All Goodridge brake hose kits are handmade in the UK to your specification and are a non-returnable special order. This is a six line Goodridge braided brake hose kit for a Volkswagen Golf MK3 GTI and 16 Valve both with 288mm front brake discs and a Banjo Union fitting at the front caliper. This type of kit is correct from some point in 1996! VW do not list a specific date or chassis point when they changed to the 288mm front discs and the Banjo Union fittings, therefore the best way to identify the correct type is to check whether the front hose simply screws into the front caliper or whether it is attached via a banjo union fitting.

Note - A banjo union fitting is a metal ring on the end of a hose with a bolt going through the middle of the ring. If the vehicle has a banjo union fitting where the front hose attaches to the front caliper then this is the correct kit for the vehicle.

If the vehicle does not have a banjo union then Part Number BHOSG10 is required. This will also NOT fit a Golf MK3 with rear drum brakes, for these models kit number BHOSG9.3 is required. Replacing the standard flexible brake hoses with reinforced steel braided lines reduces the spongy feel of the brake pedal.
